But now let’s get to what interests you most : How to make our sansevieria bloom and enjoy its aroma?
SANSEVIERIA: Cute, easy-to-maintain indoor plant
It may seem complex or difficult, but I assure you that it does not require more care than any other plant and I assure you that it will give you the most beautiful and aromatic flowers that you cannot imagine.
For this to happen you will only have to take into account the following conditions:
1. Light

It is a plant that requires a lot of light, but does not resist direct sun. Thanks to the clarity, it will be able to generate shiny leaves, but I can also assure you that if you do not have much light, your plant will adapt easily and the only thing you will notice is that its growth will be a little slower. Just so you know, sansevieria is a plant that usually does not produce more than three or four leaves per year.
2. Irrigation

As far as irrigation is concerned, sansevieria does not require much watering like succulents . Irrigation should always be on the soil directly, trying not to touch its leaves, but not in quantity. For example, during the cold season, you should only water it once or twice a month.
3. Temperature

You just have to keep in mind that sudden changes in temperature can affect it. It is a plant from warm climates so it will withstand high temperatures and if they are cold, no less than 15 degrees. Before the advent of climate changes, try to place it in places where the plant slowly adapts to them.
4. Subscription

Fertilizer is nothing more than providing your plants with the nutrients necessary for their growth. With the necessary nutrients your sansevierias will bloom and its flowers will produce an exquisite banana and vanilla aroma.
5. Transplant to larger pots

You will notice that the plant grows, therefore at some point you will notice that the pot is small and inadequate. That is where you should transplant it to larger, larger pots. Try to do this procedure for the early spring season. You should also consider providing very good drainage, always keep in mind that your plant does not require a lot of water, and if by chance good drainage has accumulated, it will make the water flow more quickly, preventing the roots from rotting.
