Necessary elements

  • Pistachios
  • Dish
  • Bag
  • Glass
  • kitchen paper
  • Spray container with water
  • Flowerpot
  • Substratum
  • Shovel

1. Step

First you must get the pistachios, remember that they should not be toasted. Remove the peel and gather a good handful, choose the ones that look the prettiest. Fill the glass with water and submerge them overnight, we are now in the first stage of germination. It is important in hard seeds that they are activated by hydrating them, as if they were waking up.

2. Step

You take the plate and place the fruits one by one on a paper napkin. Then cover them with another damp napkin, the spray mist is ideal because the irrigation is rain type. Put everything in the bag and close it to generate heat and humidity; if it dries, moisten the paper again . Choose a warm, dark place for this stage. You should keep them there for 4 to 10 days and you will discover those beautiful sprouts.

3. Step

Now is the time to plant your sprouts. To do this, it is recommended that we have two sizes of pots, a medium one and the one that will be the final one. An important characteristic is that they have good depth, especially the final one since trees generate deep roots. This potted tree will look divine as an ornamental plant.

4. Step

With the shovel, fill the pot with the substrate. Now it is the turn to plant the sprouts, with any cylindrical object you must make the hole where you will plant the sprout. Remember not to completely cover the germinated fruit, that is the birth of our future tree. If we bury it too much, it is difficult for it to penetrate the layer of soil and we run the risk of it not evolving.

5. Step

Once it is a beautiful plant and has become familiar with its corner of the home, it is ready to change its pot. It is already a strong plant and needs to continue expanding. One of the keys to cultivation is observation, you will notice when you will need more space. Who knew it was so easy to have your own pistachio plant!

Fill the lids with the cheese, paint them with honey and sprinkle with the previously ground pistachio. Place the empanadas in a greased mold, it is advisable to turn on the oven and place them in the oven hot so that they do not open. All that remains is to set a nice table and enjoy this wonderful fusion.
